Social Events

Throughout the year the Club will put on special events around the clubhouse, including Trivia Competition, New Members Night, Adults and Kids Christmas parties.

On top of this, the WMYC hosts several major sailing regattas staged by the WMSC, including the Lady Skippers Race and the Saint Helena Cup. Although yacht racing is the focus of these events, the social activities around the clubhouse are a great opportunity for Members and guests to join in the fun.

Member's Birthday Voucher

The Club also wants to encourage all members to celebrate their Birthdays at the Club. To do this we are offering paid Members a $25 bar voucher to be used at the Club on a Friday night or Sunday afternoon in the month of your birthday.

To claim this voucher in the calendar month of your birthday, just present at the bar your WMYC membership card and some id that shows your birth date. Our friendly bar staff will arrange a $25 bar credit to be used that night or afternoon (or another day) – shout your mates a drink or buy a bottle of wine to have with dinner.
